The Lord Jesus Christ passed through the heavens with a real glorified human body, a body of flesh and bones, and went with that body to a literal place, the Throne of God, where He sat down and where He is now “the Man” in the ultimate Glory. The denial of this fact, so universal in our day, strikes at the very foundation of the Gospel, our salvation and our heavenly Hope. This great truth that the Lord left bodily on His own and bodily returned to the Father is indisputably seen in this account of His ascension. There is a Man on the Throne of the Universe.
