The following membership types will be recorded for each record in the church database.
### Member
A member of First Family Church in good standing. A member as full privileges of membership (voting, serving, leading). This person meets all of the expectations of a member and shows by their life's testimony a commitment to being a disciple of Jesus Christ. A member is committed to worshipping together, growing in community, and serving as the Holy Spirit equips them and calls them. A person must be 16-years or older to become a member of First Family.
### Child of Member
A child of member is anyone who started attending First Family as a child and his or her parent(s) were members in good standing. A child of member will maintain this status until he or she personally decides to become a member of First Family at age 16 or older. A child of a member can serve at First Family until they reach the age of 18 at which point they can no longer serve until after they complete the membership process.
### Attender
An attender is anyone who regularly attends First Family Church and is a member of a small group. While attenders are welcome to attend First Family, they do not have the privileges of membership (voting, serving, leading).
### Guest
A guest is anyone (child or adult) or visits First Family and is entered into the church database.
### Removed from Membership
Per the FFC Bylaws, any member who fails to attend First Family during a six month period of time without cause can be removed from membership by the elders.
### Withdrawn from Membership
A member who voluntarily withdraws their membership from First Family Church while in good standing as a member.
### Excommunicated
A member who is dismissed from church membership due to disciplinary actions.
### Transferred
A member who transfers their membership from First Family to another church.
### Moved
A member or attender or moves out of the area and no longer attends First Family.
### Death
A member or attender who dies.
